Golden Touch Craps

Post of the Month - July

This month we almost had a three-way tie. The winner for POM is Yoow for "What Is Your Exit Strategy?" I have given both Easy Roller and StephenC the award for POD this month. All three posts generated a lot of interest and several replies. Congratulations to all of you.

What Is Your Exit Strategy?

GTC-Chicago 07, Refresher-Chicago 08, Post Of The Month, Post Of Distinction, "If at first you don't suceed, practice!"

There are lots of offerings on the board for betting strategies and increasing ones bets, usually in a progressive manner. Although a lot of money can be won with any of those methods; so too, can a lot of money be left on the table. Usually, just when you thought you were about to make some "big bucks".

So, the question becomes,.......when is the best time to start taking money off the table?

What is the trigger?

Thinking about it, it could be:......
1) number of rolls? This guy has thrown "x" number of times, he won't go much farther.......
2) points made? He's made two points.......he'll be lucky to make another one......
3) time duration? He's been throwing for twenty minutes. Hit a lot of junk.........maybe one point, but still throwing.

In the mean time, you have been progressing and making money to boot, but have a substantial amount on the table if they were to seven out.

Question: do you let it all hang out untill it busts and take the hit........or do you find a way to start taking money off the table?

Rolls NEVER last forever: what is your exit strategy ......and what triggers it?
