There are big things coming on November 1, 2006 for the 6,000 Golden Touch™ members of our private web site The Craps Club.

We have decided to create special awards for posters – Black Chip, Purple Chip and Golden Chip awards – for those who have contributed posts that our GTC Awards Committee considers worthy of recognition (Posts of Recognition) and for those who have contributed the Post of the Month.

Every month our committee, chaired by Mr. Finesse, will select posts that it considers Posts of Recognition. If a GTCer’s post is selected, he or she is considered a Black Chipper. If this individual gets 10 Posts of Recognition, he or she becomes a Purple Chipper. If a poster gets 20 Posts of Recognition or receives the award for Post of the Month, he or she becomes a Golden Chipper.

The Post of the Month and the Posts of Recognition will be made on the 15^th of the current month for the previous month – so on December 15, the November Posts will be honored.

If someone gets multiple Golden Chipper awards, we simply multiply. A person can be a Golden Chipper, a Double Golden Chipper, a Triple Golden Chipper and so on.

The winner each month of our Post of the Month award will receive a check for $100 and become an automatic Golden Chipper. If you receive a Chip award, you should put your award under your posting handle. Do this by going to the profile section of the web site.

The Posts of Recognition and the Post of the Month do not have to be about craps – or even about gambling. They can be in any of the following message-board categories: Craps, Other Games; the Good, the Bad, and the Mediocre; Movies; Television; Humor; Coffee Chat Lounge; World We Live In, and Books. The only criterion is that the writing must be an original piece and not have been published elsewhere. Instructors and Assistant Instructors are not eligible for any of these awards.

We are also opening a new private message board titled Your Opinion Counts. Is there a post the past month that deserves recognition in your opinion? Is there something you would like to see added, subtracted, changed in some way on our private web boards? This message board is strictly about our private message boards and GTC practices in general.

We also will recognize all the great GTCers who have had 40 plus and 50 plus rolls by putting these achievements under their posting handles. So when you see someone who has 50-Roll Club under his or her name, you know they have accomplished something great at the craps tables – they have had one or more hands that have hit 50 or better. So anyone that has had a 40-hand or 50-hand roll, please go to your profile and add your roll accomplishments. Use 50-Roll Club and 40-Roll Club as your designations.
